Tuesday, July 15th, 6-7:30 p.m. in the Carnegie Room. Do you enjoy the TV show Doctor Who? Maybe you've never seen the show but you like crafting, games and snacks. In either case, this is a program for you! Be sure to sign up at the upstairs Information Desk beforehand.
Raffle tickets you earned during Prizes for Pages give you a chance to win movies, music, books, comic books, canvas bags, & more. You’ll get these raffle tickets when you hit the 600, and 1400 page reading goals. More tickets means more chances at prizes, as your name can be drawn multiple times! The raffle will be held Friday, August 31st.

Are fines preventing you from checking out books? Sign up for summer reading and we’ll let you check out one book. You read 200 pages and we’ll subtract $5 off your fines. Read 400 pages and we’ll subtract an additional $5 off your fines (that’s up to $10 total). If you still have fines after that we’ll get you on a payment plan and you can start checking out books again.
Thursday, August 15th, 1-7p.m. Teens will spend the day reading in the Carnegie Room alongside other teens. Snacks and dinner (pizza) will be provided. Every hour, we’ll take a five minute break to get more books. Be sure to sign up at the Information Desk by Tuesday, August 13th.
Write a review of a book you've read this summer in the tradional 5-7-5 format of a Japanese Haiku. you can turn in multiple haikus, but only one per book. The winning Haiku Review will receive $50 in Downtown Bucks to spend in businesses along 3rd Street. There will also be prizes for second and third place. See an upstairs librarian for an entry form. Submissions are due by Wednesday, August 14th.

The person who records the most total pages read for Prizes for Pages wins $50 in Downtown Bucks. All comics, graphic novels and manga, regardless of length, will be considered 25 pages.
