Summer Reading for Kids at the McMinnville Public Library
Starts June 2014
for kids birth to 12 years old 

Fem S.T.E.M. - A science program just for girls! Register in advance, limited to 20 participants.

Reading Log - for kids who can read up to 12 years old.  You can download just the log part here.

Ultimate Reading Challenge - Bookmarks need to be turned into the Library by September 7 to claim your prizes. Last day to download your bookmark or start the program is July 1st! Prizes include rail Blazer Ticket, Ice Cream Ticket, Zoo pass and more!  Plus entry into the Kindle Fire drawing.

Oregon Battle of the Books (OBOB) Summer Book Club - Get a jump start on your OBOB reading this summer.  No registration or fee.
Listening Log - for kids who aren't quite reading yet.

Science Explorers - for kids 6 to 8 years old. Limited to 20 participants. $2 per pearticipant per program. Currently programs are full and we are taking names for waiting lists.

Talent Show - Be part of the fun, be part of the show! Auditions are Friday July 11Pick up an application at the Children's Desk or download one here.

Art Lab - for kids 9 to 12 years old.  Limited to 20 participants. $2 per participant per program.

Art Explosion - starts June 27. Recommended for kids 4 to 7 years old.

Yammy Trophy 
2014 competition starts June 18! School with the most students finsihing the Reading Log wins the trophy.  Come see the trophy in the Children's Room.

Summer Meal Sites - Free meal sites for kids.
