Summer Reading for Kids at the McMinnville Public Library
Starts June 18 and Ends August 31, 2013
For kids birth to 12 years old
| Listening Log - September 6th is the LAST Day to turn in listening Logs. |
| Movies - Every Friday at 2pm in the Carnegie Room starting June 28 - including popcorn! |
| Staycation Tickets - Attend 5 Wednesday Programs this summer and enter the raffle to win a membership to the Oregon Zoo for your family for one year. |
| Reading log - Last day to turn in Reading Logs is September 6th. |
| Ultimate Reading Challenge - Last day to turn in URC bookmark is September 6th. |
| Yammy Trophy - Awarded to the school that has the most students finish the Reading Log each summer. |
| Gerome the Gnome - Listen for the clue to where Gerome went this week, find him and return to the libray with your ticket to be entered into the drawing to win Gerome - or his buddy. Starts Wednesday, June 19 and continues through Wedneday, August 21. |
| Dig into Art - Registration is now open. |
| Return Your Receipts - Last day to start saving your receipts is June 30. |
| Science Mania - Registration is now open. |
| Talent Show - Sign up for an audition. Talent Show is Wednesday, August 28th, 2:00 p.m. at the McMinnville Community Center, 600 NE Evans Street. |
| Read for Fines - If you are a kid 12 years old or younger who knows how to read and has too many fines on your library card to check out library materials, you can sign up to read away your fines with one of the Teen Volunteeers this summer. Call the Chihldren's Room, 503- 435-5559, or come in to register. |
